Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 14, 2026

Our policy is simple: the line is consent, not content. You can send anything the recipient opted into receiving. If they didn't ask for it, don't send it.

All emails sent through One-Email must be to recipients who have given explicit or implied consent to receive them. This includes transactional emails (password resets, order confirmations, account notifications) and marketing emails where the recipient has opted in.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use One-Email to send:

  • Unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Phishing or deceptive emails
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful attachments
  • Content that violates applicable laws
  • Emails with forged or misleading headers
  • Content that promotes illegal activities

3. Sending Practices

You must include a valid sender address. Marketing emails must include an unsubscribe mechanism. You must honor unsubscribe requests within 48 hours. Purchased or scraped email lists are strictly prohibited.

4. Account Ramp Limits

New accounts are subject to sending limits that increase over time. This protects our shared infrastructure and your deliverability. Limits are automatically raised as your account establishes a positive sending reputation.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We monitor bounce rates, complaint rates, and sending patterns across all accounts. Accounts that exceed safe thresholds may be automatically paused to protect deliverability. Repeated violations will result in account suspension.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you receive unwanted email sent via One-Email, report it to abuse@one-email.com. We investigate all reports and take action within 24 hours.
